home of Cozy Silkies
Paradise is the perfect name for our farm where we raise, cows, emus, peafowl, guineas, silkie chickens along with a new breed of chickens called showgirls. I added a horse for the grand kids in September 2005 and since then have taken in a really sweet rescue horse named, Charlie Horse.

Presently I have a free ranging flock of guineas in various colors. They are free ranging on my property as well as my next door neighbor's. We had wonderful hatches last spring of keets that included Pearl, Pied Pearl, Lavender, Chocolate, White, Royal Purple, Buff, Slate, Brown, Violet, and Coral Blue colors.
Besides the guineas I raise silkies, showgirls, peafowl, Marans and a few more egg layers of mixed breeds.
Another friend and I are working with the new cross of turken and silkie chickens, called showgirls. They have the naked neck of turkens along with the feathering, skin color, and 5 toes of silkies.
Pictures and information about my various critters are on the following pages....

These pages share the way things are done at my farm. This is certainly not the only way, but the best way for me.

Who would have thought we would still be meeting after all these years? Make plans to come this year and meet old friends and new faces.
